Default Yokomo Nitro Touring

I have been out of the RC thing a bit. Is Yokomo getting out of the nitro touring car? They don't even have kits on their site. Someone please fill me in.

I haven't heard anything about that. Yokomo, Xray, and Losi don't have a nitro car. Looks like the competition has them scared.

the old GT-4 is still out there, but parts are now hard to find especially here in australia. it is outdated in terms of clutch and transmission, but still a good car. i did win the pull start class state title this year with the car. if it had better parts backing then i probably would have taken it to pro tourers as well. love the car, still have it. yokomo is concentrating on drifting and electric, dont think they will produce another nitro tourer, its a shame.

I had a couple of GT4's, good cars. I loved running them with the Euro Truck body. But the parts have been getting harder to get for the past couple of years. A couple of years ago, out here at the RCX show I asked the guys at Yokomo if a GT-5 was in the works (this was when their drift car lineup was being first displayed). But they said there was no such car in development, they were concentrating their time on the electric side. I'd like to see Yokomo come out with a new nitro tourer, but it looks like it's not going to happen.

I'd love to see Yokomo come out with a new tourer also. Well, Barry Baker isn't with Associated anymore...maybe...
