Can someone explain rocket rounds? I keep seeing this in race reports but it is never explained.

Rocket rounds is your best run from your qualifiers,say you get to run six quals and its your fastest run from those six,hope this helps..

So what's the difference in that and just normal qualifiing? Your fastest qualifier is always used to seed the mains.
