It was determined that Giovannie was too fast for the Open class, so he has moved up to the Factory class, and the lowest Factory Qualifier was moved into the Open class (Jose Tort). Jared Scott was really the lowest qualifier in the Factory class, but he just arrived yesterday and his times are fast, he just keeps having problems, so he was no eligible to move into the Open class.

Thanks for the results the LiveRC system is great. Just to clarify, are the 3 scores counting or best 2?

My understanding is that the final overall result was Morganti, Salven, Tosolini. Is this correct?

Also anyone got any pics?

Yes, the best 2 out of 3.

Congrats to Paolo on his victory and for bouncing back after having a problem in A1. Michael Salven had 3 superb runs turning 64 laps, 65 laps and 65 laps to take second. I am sure a few Corona's will be consumed tonight!!!!

Guys this race was awesome!!!
A1 Paolo had a problem with a pulley falling off the car for the first A-main and than Chris was winning and hit the curb on the shacane and the car just head toward the wall and hit it and then stalled. Michael who was in second now was in first and continued to the end winning.

A2 The race had a clean start with Paolo and Salven than Tosolini .. The race was very close for these three guys for about 10 minutes. Paolo had a small push, Salven's car was very loose and Tosolini's car was to lean. Chris was very fast but had to run it as lean as possible to make 5 minutes. Chris finally passed Michael with his sight set on Paolo and was closing in; when he ran out of fuel on the right side of the track and Paolo cruised to an easy 1st place with Salven finishing second and Chris in third..

A3 This race was very clean.. Maybe the cleanest of all the start with all the drivers starting out well except for one... Paolo, Michael, DJ, Scotty and Chris formed a freight train around the track until the first pit stop. Paolo and Salven did a good job of setting the pace with Chris pushing very hard to make up time. Chris got past scotty and Dj and set his sight on Salven. Salven was runnng the Mega Fantini motors and boy were they fast. After some time went by the racers started to settle a bit; the race started to get interesting when Chris made a pass on Salven. They sliced and diced for about 3 minutes and Tosolini pulled ahead and started to make up time on Paolo. Paolo was real cool with the pressure. He never let the pressure get him down. Chris pitted and the following lap Paolo pitted coming behind Tosoloni and for the first time allowing Chris to lead the A3. Paolo motored by Chris with his Mega Fantini powered 720. Chris clearly was a little under powered. Chris's car was better in a few corners and Paolo's was faster in others. With 5:40 in the race Tosoloni's pit man called him in for fuel and left him outside the window that he ws usually in. He was then battling with Chris for the lead when about 40 seconds till the end, Chris started to shows signs of being really lean because he was almost out of fuel and at about the 20 second mark Chris ran out of fuel. This allowed Salven to get by again and Chris finished in third...

The race was exciting for all of us since it was an intense race for 3 races.. The race being 20 minutes long kept the pace real fast and everyone on their toes..
