Back to the subject, since the US racing organization killed off the 235mm class, it would be nice to have an alternative class to the 200mm touring and 1/8th scale classes. Since there are just as many 5-port .12 engines as 3-port .12 engines, it is a shame that you can only run 5-ports at the club level because they are not race legal at sanctioned races. Also, most club tracks are not big enough to utilize the top-end of most 5-ports. Now that Frewer and Protoform have Lola bodies out for 200mm (and a couple of other companies as well), I say lets push for at a bigger level than at local clubs.

what you are describing is exactly what the outlaw class is intended for. since 200 mm sedans with 5-7 ports are as fast if not faster than 235's they were put together in one class so you can run you're outlaw motors at a roar event.

Body mounts
I know that the Serpent has a floating rear mount and modifed mounts for the fronts to run a Lola body on the 710/720.....does the MTX4 and RRR have these parts also? Thinking hard about setting up one of these cars for outlaw but I need an idea of which car is better suited for this. Thanks

The RRR is best. Use the front lola bumper and keep the standard rear mount. Use a one way and 50K rear diff oil.

When we ran the RR with a lola we changed the floating mount for fixed one to improve handeling.
