Thanks for the motor Dennis, it Rocks!

Broke it in today at Revelation and even during mid throttle runs, it jumped when it hit second gear. Nice to have a real .12 . Remind me never to run a stock motor again

You haven't lost your touch, if anything, you're getting better!

wow, today was the first day with my dennis modded MT 12 that i really pulled hard on the track.. DAMN!!! this thing flies.. I eventually found myself letting of the throttle halfway down the straight, so i wouldnt crash into the guys in front(i just rolled by them!!!). All the guys on the track came to my pit after the "race", and wanted to know WTF that was.. 1/10 track guys also got whipped. THIS IS SOM MUCH FUN!! Atlast im not the guy that has the slowest egine anymore.

cant wait for the first race on the big 1/8 scale track. the extra power should help me keep the others behind ..
thanx dennis..

ChrisF,

Which RTU did you get? Sounds like you've got your hands full! How was the traction at Revelation yesterday? I have'nt been there for a while. I might be at Crystal today after the off road race.

Dennis,

I tried the number that you gave me and it does'nt seem to be working. Drop me a pm so we can talk.

Ended up with a MT12 RTU. Very nice. Despite having just rained, the traction at Revelation was pretty good yesterday. Had a blast.

I was running a neon yellow Dodge Stratus. The car was pretty awesome. THe motor isn't even broken in yet and it is so much faster than my stock SX12RE it's not even funny. I think it came off one run at 215. It will be up to 240-250 next weekend

chris F: i had the same experience with my ritchey engine. these engines really kick ass!!!
By the way, i set a new personal best time on our track, while running in the engine!!!! i wasnt even standing in the drivers tower!, i was standing in the pit, driving from there, and my friend was on the platform, and he couldnt keep up with me( last year it was the opposite)
The stock setup on the reflex is very good on our track too. Im abouts 0.4 seconds away from the track record in this class.
Cant wait till i get this thing properly adjusted..

Motorman - let me know the next time you are coming down, If I can I will help ya out on the chassis set-up if ya want. I am making more changes for this weekend to mine for testing. By the time the Nats comes around there wont be a set-up I hav'nt tried. I am close now but when the temp rises, changes will need to be made. If ya want you can drive my car to feel the set-up. You looked as though you had plenty of HP (obviously) and I am glad you got it closer at the end of the day. We left with only about an hour of daylight to go, so you must have stayed till about dark - LOL
