There is a new gasket material out that is orange and I just bought some for my Evolva and it sould be same for the 1/10 scale. Call Ace Hobbies http://www.acehardwarehobbies.com and they have them in stock. Tell them I sent you and they are sure to charge you double

I had the same issue with my Evolva tank with the black seal. It would just compress and not go back to its original shape. I'm running the new orange material now; I haven't had any problems yet but I've only run it one race.

Be careful about just replacing the gasket -- I noticed with one of my older tanks that the gasket material wore away (i.e., some was missing). It probably fell into the tank, which means it could have clogged the filter. In the future if I see a filter that's got some black in it I think I'll just replace the tank!
