"Spektrum Pro"

just a quick question guys that run Spektrum, are the new "Pro" receivers compatable with the older gray modules and vice versa??

Yes, they are compatible. the only difference would be that if you do not have the current transmitter module then you won't notice any difference in speed. the current transmitter module and receiver are faster then the previous Spectrum system. hope this helps

faster then the already blistering first spektrum? they are nuts whats next real time response?

Spektrum slows down your radio. Some prefer not to run it due to this reason. They have cut it down some.

Also any pro system you buy will reduce your system lag. RX or TX , when combined the benefits are even better.

Also check out this thread for further spektrum pro information:

When you use any of the Pro Series equipment with the original Modules or Receivers, you WILL get an improvement in your latency. The original system's total latency was 5.6milliseconds. When you upgrade to the Pro Series Module and Receiver, the total latency is cut nearly in half to only 3ms. If you run an Original Module with a Pro Series Reciever or a Pro Series Module with an original receier, you will get half the gain in latency for a total of 4.3ms.
