The 2006 Byron Fuel On-road Nitro Challenge will be held July 8th & 9th at:

Mention "Intense Raceway Park" for room rates of $59.99 for 2 person double. The Super 8 is about 2 1/2 miles from the track.

I would love to race that event. But my R40 isn't up to snuff yet and that would be my very first race, so I think I will sit it out, I don't want to be in anybodies way. Plus I wouldn't be able to make it out on the 8th, only the 9th. But maybe I'll go out and watch, except I would rather be running my R40!

I wish I could make it to at least 1 of the MWS races, but it doesn't look like I will be able to. It was a pretty big stretch to get the 2 days off for this race.

Hey Shane, what is the possibility of setting off some fireworks on Sunday night after the races or before the A-mains? I had to work on the 4th but I bought a bunch of stuff. I still have it.
