Default "Byron Fuels" on road Challenge----DeKalb

Anyone going to this race?
I'm 'gutted' ! The race in right on my doorstep, yet I can't go.

The shortening of hours at work has left me with little race fundage --
Best of luck to those that go.

I am going, I just need to get my car prepped and put back together. Aiming to take all of Byron's money.

The track is pretty good. It is not real long, but more of a square shape. There is a bump on the front straight, but it is easy to avoid. Medium traction and doesn't wear on tires too much. I think I wore about 1mm in 15 minutes last time out. The layout is technical, and fun to drive. It is not like Evolution, but it is a great place to go out and race.

I was there today, traction was med. to med. high.

The lay out was fun but it will change a little for the Byrons Race.

Hope to see a lot of people there, it is a good time.

Dave,

The track is pretty good. A little on the tight side for 1/8 but still fun. PM me your email addy and I'll send a pic of the track. I'm going to try to make it up for the race but not sure yet.

My vote goes to Mikey or Darin in 8th, Don't know if they are gonna be running 1/10th. If they are, they will probably win that too.

What tire shores are you most likely to use?
What are the times that the track will be open for practice on friday?

I will probably be running 40f and 37r. All depends on how the track is thaose 2 days. I may end up trying to run 42s all the way around if traction is good.

On the calander it says open practice from 12 pm to 9 pm on Friday.

See ya there.
