its very simple I did this 6 years ago with the Serpent Impulse all you need is the front axles from the serpent Impact since they use the same bearings. I used the Impact axles and dogbones

OH realy there is a little more than that to it if you what a nice job . & If you whant to be at 200mm . . the front 835 axels can be used on the front . But you have to shorten the front arms .. The rear is a whole nother story ..you have to use the rear 835 wheelaxles & cut them off ..& shorten the arms as well . thats just to get started ..

Default Quick Release

I recall Bill Christensen in the Phoenix Area had done the same thing about 3 years ago. He has basically had every Serpent Type vehicle that has been produced and figured it out. It seemed to work very well.

I do not recall all the particulars, however, since I just noticed this thread, I think it would be cool to have some of the manufacturers "or" aftermarket inventors like yourself get these out on the market.

Anything but the standard Hex Bolt setup !!!

As mentioned Team Magic has made the quick release wheels. With theirs you have a large bearing in the hub carrier to accommodate the the quick release shaft. The wheels themselves are made stronger to insure there is no bends or breaks during use.

I would like to see this size become standard so no matter what tire is your preference it will still work any car manufacturer.

Good point !
Innovation is the future of rc ,and i am confident this is a innovationn that is going to change a few minds and hopefully become popular as its just so much easier to work with.

They might not be the first to do this but they are the first manufacturer to impliment it and market it.
