Anyone try the OS VZ-R .12 engine?

Anyone with opinions on it? I'm starting to plan out the stuff I want for my MRX3 (which is coming soon) and wondered if anyone's tried this engine yet? I see them for a decent price on eBay and wondered if they were worth it?

oops, that should say .21 engine

That engine is a stable in the off-road buggy scene. Never seen anybody using one for a race-quality 1/8 scale on-road though.

Off-road? Are you sure? This engine was specifically created for on-road. Maybe you're thinking of the RZ v01

dude,
it's not competitive enough....decent......not competitive.

yeah, you're right rod_b, sorry. wrong engine.

some guys do run the Z in off-road on slippery tracks cause it's supposed to have less torque.

Still, I haven't seen any o.s. engines in racers 1/8 on-road though.
