i had it for several years - still do, in pieces - and i used to break the front universals alot. i thought that maybe it was my driving at the time. anyway, downgraded the fronts to dogbones like the rtr kit because they would then just pop out, and they were cheaper.
WHen it was more popular it was a great car for the price. A old friend of mine raced it in a field of other cars and did rather well. Try it out for yourself! If you don't have that much part access, leave it in the box and sell it.
Trying to live every day like its the last....
nothing to do with the servo saver. those unis were a little brittle at pivot point (wheel side). If you want to use unis, you could use the R40 uni shafts. A friend of mine did this and never had any more problems with it.
GS Vision Pro is a decent car, just a little outdated to keep up with the RRR/MTX4. Plenty stable even with a front oneway on the front.
We have had great luck with driving the cars in low/high traction tight tracks. If the track is large w/sweeping corners the new stuff really shines. I run my rrr WCE if we run large tracks and my Vision Pro if the track is tight/technical. I am trying to fab a set of Xray PB front steering blocks and CVs. Will post info if it works
