Default Novarossi RS-12 ts1

A friend had a couple of these new never used in the box,looks like they were made in 2001, were going to use them in touring car this summer are they any good? LMN Thanks

Ran about 5 tanks through this yesterday, our friends that are helping us learn gas said these are awesome motors.

They are great motors. A great pipe, clutch setup, 30% fuel n plug will make the motor shine. I wonder how much they are going for nowadays.

We put a RD logics turbo 2 pipe on it and its in a HPI R40 that was owned by a professional racer, I got 2 of these motors NIB for $160 each from a close friend whos ran gas for years...he said they were bad fast.

The 5 port modified one or it was a 3 port is just shy of power to the NS12 so it has about 1.45 or more HP. Regardless this is a great motor to use for the track and is on par with the OS .12 TZ and other mid range engines.

I wouldnt care. I still run one with the Palmaris BRB P/S set. They work far better than most other engines in our climate. I would just be happy if I could find a new one for sale. For some reason, every 11mm crankshaft on the market just disappeared after the NS12 came out.
