Default camber question regarding factory drivers setups/manual

Hi all

I noticed in the rrr evo set up sheet supplied and also factory drivers they mainly use camber angles of like 0.5 or 1 degree.

i have to use at least 3-4 degrees to stop my tires from coning, this is on both a high and low grip track. my racing partner users the same setup as well.

Look at the roll center settings. Increase in roll will require more camber to keep the tires from coning.

Box stock Evo WCE, you need to use a 2mm offset rear tire...

If you are looking for a good pipe with a decent price tag skyline vr12 plus works great with the O.S.

I assume you are talking about the rear. I haven't looked at too many setup sheets, but I have looked at a few. I also get some setups from talking to some of the other team drivers and 3-4 degrees is pretty common. .5-1 degree is pretty common for the toe out in the front, but not camber.

Hmm...From my experience, the RRR Evo stock brake pads are way much better than the RRR WCE stock brake pads... Don't have any experience on the upgrade brake pads from Kyosho since the RRR Evo stock ones work fine with me and has tons of braking power already...

Kyosho upgraded the Evo pads to what are the option brake pads for the standard RRRs, so they should be pretty good. If you experience any brake fade with the Evo pads, purchase the K Factory K1498 pads and K1901 disc.

If I remember it right, the RRR Evo/RRR EVO WCE brake pads are red in color while the RRR/RRR WCE are black in color... The new red brake pads feel softer than the older ones...

Hi Guys, can you tell me the cheapest online place to buy a RRR (I need international shipping)? also which is the premier kit at the moment? I'm told the RRR Evo WC is out of stock with kyosho and not expected to be produced again until the end of the year, but there is a KRF edition?

thanks

I don't know about intl shipping, but kamikraze (kamikaze rc) and superior hobbies are both showing the evo WC in stock. The EVO WC is the premium kit. Part number 31260B

hi people

Just got into 10th nitro, I have a v one rrr 2004 worlds editon, with sirio engine and pipe
just want to ask what would be a good starting point for front and rear diff oils? The track im going to has heavy breaking zones and sweepers medium grip, 1/8th scale

also, there are 2 types of springs in the 2007 catalogue, ones with a 13mm inner diameter and one with a 14mm inner diameter which are suitable for this car

Are there any other optional parts that are worth getting?

i appreciate any advice given
thanks
Matt

A good starting point for the diffs on a RRR is 30K front / 10K rear.

The RRR Evo came out with Evolva shocks and for those guys that have previously owned a RRR or upgraded the shocks, they say that it's better than the orignal shocks.

If you check out the Web site in my signature, you'll find a lot of good info in the RRR Knowledge Base and the RRR section of my forum. There is also something called the "Ultimate Edition" which talks about upgrades and the benefits. I would highly suggest, that you run the car out of the box first and see how well the car runs "as is" - then choose your upgrades based on your requirements.

Have fun!
Rainer
