Maybe I will try a front diff with 100-200K, might wear less.

Won't wear at all! Very little wear with diff! Cap clutch everything is smaller/lighter...... Quicker spool up more snap. It will b the difference of ur car feeling heavy on track, or really light n quick.....The shimo clutch is prob close to same performance as cap.....

And whats a good motor .12 anything under $300? that's still pretty quick.

I have a Sirio EVO STI that got alittle toasty still runs ok. Just looking for something new. Will go Murnan later, just tight on funds right now.

Thanks.

Interesting, does seen a bit lazy on the bottom. Do you have a part number? Or is it just their clutch out of their 1/10 scale car? And will my steel pinions work? Will it go right on?

Thanks

Your steel pinions will go right on a clutch for the capricorn! I would get cap-419-ALU THats the complete clutch with aluminum hard coated bell n yellow shoe

As far as motor less than $300. Stick with novarossi. U may find a "keep on" "Rb T11" "3sct" "353" Look on Amain an absolute hobbyz. Good prices there

Actually the stock evo2 wc team edition setup works really well!! Maybe bottom hole on rear roll centers, and short rear link with 2.5 spacer under link, car should rotate good!!

Lightbulb RRR parts

Ashford Hobby, Kyosho America and maybe Kamikaze Toy and Hobby might still have some parts.

I have a few questions about the CVD"s

Looks like I have 50mm black in back, 47mm silver in front works good with spool or oneway. And I have a set of 45mm black ones, only thing I can think is the 45mm ones work with the front diff? It seems its about 1mm longer?

And I see theres 52mm you can get for the back. Is this to get the width to 200mm? Seems like mine now is 197ish. And the front is 200. If yes what do u do install the 52mm and screw the pivot balls out and lengthen the upper link?

Thanks

Sounds like u need to swap the fronts to the back! Should b able to go anywhere from 196 to 200f. N 199R is good

You can download the later manuals (Evo 2, Evo 2 WCE and the Shimo Edition) from Kyosho Americas web site. If I'm not mistaken, from the Evo 2 onward, the rear pivot balls are 2 mm further outward and the camber links are made longer with one short and one longer ball cup instead of two short ball cups, (the previous RRR's used +2 mm offset rear wheels to get the rear track width out to 200 mm. I'd consult an Evo 2 or Shimo manual to better make sense of all the possible different rear suspension combinations.
