Hi

I have been using the KO Helios with Spektrum... but it fell over on the table onto the antenna and now it no longer stays up. I was trying to move away from having this problem with the Nomardio and Spektrum DX3 etc. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks

And...a Futaba 3PKS with fasst is much better than all 3 of those.
Just kiddin guys.

Seriously though...any of the highend radios are good and will serve the purpose but asking which is better is like asking which truck is better...dodge, ford or chevy. Every person will have a different answer.

Exclamation Rear Foam Tires

Need help regarding what other brand of foam tires with 2mm offset for the rear I can purchase besides the Kyosho ones.

I know the Kyosho ones are very good set of foams except for the wheel part...they tend to break easily especially in the front.

Thanks to anyone who can help/reply.

Twister tires comes with 2mm offset you have to request it to ensure they don't send you the normal 0 offset

Sorry to hear that.....but I have never experienced Kyosho rims breaking like others, possibly if you hit the wall hard enough they will bend. As you well know the Kysoho rubber is outstanding and hopefully you will give them another shot

Take care

Don't get me wrong with what I said ....the Kyosho rear foams/wheels are awesome. I'm only having durability concerns with the front whenever I do hit the boards/wall (just new to nitro racing & been doing electric TCs since 2000 ). Not use to going 4 times faster on the track yet (but will get there ).

In fact last night @ my LHS where I was running the car, I got another set of Kyosho foams F/R due to they didn't have in stock the JACO rears with 2mm offset. I might just trade the front Kyosho foams with the JACO ones instead until I get use to running nitro more and then just switch back later unless Kyosho decides to strengthen/change the wheel design they currently use on their foam tires.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the info on the front spools and I got the K- Factory all in one. Now I need some more advice on servos for my second Evo WC. I have been looking at the following servos I would prefer to get all the same type just to make it easier.

- KO Propo PDS-2413 ICS Low Profile
[KO-30044]

- Sanwa ERG-WZ Digital
[SAN-ERG-WZ]

All advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Are there any better brakes than what comes with the Evo WC? I seem to have good braking for the first 5 min. or so..then it goes downhill fast with fading.

I got 89 mph with the RRR today. Here is a vid of an 87mph run just after

http://youtube.com/watch?v=UyMpLFYd0JY

It was uphill against the wind and with 20/56 gearing (The internal ratio is modified). I think I can get 100 mph next time

Cheers
