Go to my Web site, go to links, look for Kawahara and click on the Hikari Systems link.

rmdhawaii, are you sure this can fit into V1RRR ? Checked the kyosho partlist it just stated it for RR Evo/RR maybe the document missed mark in the RRR column. ?

litespeed-dom and I think it will. Go back to post #237 and have a look for yourself. Just wait a couple of weeks and I'll be able to tell your for sure when I rebuild my car.

Expensive
I've added it as a submission to the spec. Availability is an issue and I need to verify the durabilty of the part. As previously indicated elsewhere, it did beak on soloartist.

The hollow shaft which was meant for the RR/EVO (as I was told on this thread) is a direct fit. The Ti shaft is a direct replacement of the hollow shaft. So in theory, it should fit the RRR.

Also contacted Kyosho America last week, they do not have the Ti shaft, only the hollow shaft in stock. Any local hobby shops that can get Kyosho products can get the hollow shaft for you.

The hollow shaft works great! Way better than the aftermarket alum. ones. It's just as light and pretty much bullet proof. About half the weight of the stock shaft. I know everyone wants to lighten up rotating mass in the drivetrain, but don't give up durability. And stay away from the alum. pulleys. They last about 1/8 the life span of the the stock pulleys and cost a bundle. Plus once they get sharp, you'll start ripping up belts. Save your $.

Thanks kidDynamite! That makes two confirmed thumbs down on the the aluminum pulleys. I don't think they are going to make the spec.

What I'll probably do at this point, is make the hollow middle shaft the standard UE upgrade option with the Ti middle shaft being the secondary UE option.
