Looking forward to attending.
Is Detroit the closest airport to the track?

Ted,

Thanks for the heads up. Had an awesome time last year and would not miss it this year.
This has become a must attend race.

Detroit airport and Toledo Express are the two closest airports to our track. Most of the time Detroit is less expensive to fly into. Both airports are roughly 45 minutes to an hour from the track and hotel locations. Driving from the airports to the hotels is quite simple as everything is pretty much off of major highways. Check the Oneeighthracers website for hotel and track information.

Yes, Detroit airport is 45 miles from the track and should work the best. Cleveland airport is about 1.5 hours away. Toledo's airport is mainly commuter flights and is a 35 minute drive to the track.

I wonder if the birthday hat bandit will be there this year?

Finally the culprit has come forward. Just think of all the kids that have come there since you left looking for a birthday celebration, only to be told that someone stole the hat and they no longer celebrate birthday's.

By the way Skipstr, Doc say's he is missing a pair of scissors and wanted to know if you have them.

Default Tracks looks awesome.

Yesterday a bunch of us spent the day at the Toldeo track getting it ready for the 2006 season. The track looks great!! The asphalt is an awesome shape......smooth.....flat and fast! The drivers stand is also bigger this year. It looks like they added almost ten feet to it. The entire infield and all the boards have been repainted(done anuually anyway). The track just looked so inviting that it was hard to be there w/o my car.
