I don't think going to a thicker oil will help, but definitely fixing the break pads should. You may also want to try harder compound in the front (i.e. 37 rears, 40 fronts) to make the car push a little bit and make it a little bit more stable and easier to drive. Good luck and keep us posted.

Default Serpent Wins 5th Round of the Florida State Series

I just wanted to take the time to thank Serpent-USA for the fine products that they supply. This weekend we had our state race and my car was great. There was good traction and normal tire wear. I was able to take the win with my 720. The car was great all weekend and it really showed in the main. For those of you in need of a good set-up for the Winternats let me know and I will be glad to help.

Regards,

DJ Apolaro

i've fixed brake pad... everything on default again except some (shown below)now... the tail still slip out but more controlable now...

2 degree toe out front
2 degree camber front
3 degree toe in front
3 degree camber rear
both front n rear belt at loose tension (new belt)
tyres 37 shore front n rear
all default parts
front locked diff (spool)
bearings r ok
aluminium center shaft mount
aluminium upper deck bracket
front n rear anti roll bar at softest
red springs all around
front 5mm rear 6mm ride height
shocks setting default
engine JP FX T-03
pipe 5.2mm
protoform nemesis body
roll center front highest hole
roll center rear lowest hole
rear diff oil 40,000

i tried my friend's car with below setting

3 degree toe out front
2 degree camber front
3 degree toe in front
4 degree camber rear
both front n rear belt at loose tension (new belt)
tyres 40 shore front n rear
all default parts
front one way
bearings r ok
aluminium center shaft mount
aluminium upper deck bracket
front n rear anti roll bar at softest
front blue springs
rear red springs
front 5mm rear 6mm ride height
shocks setting default

the track grip is medium/low

my friend's car has better overall grip n doesn't spin out much compare to mine even though his car is very bumpy...

i really will like to solve my mysterious problem... i had severals much much better drivers/racers looked into my car but they had no idea wat's worng with my car...

have you checked ur "droop" setting??? you might be limiting your weight transfer & not even realize it...

just a thought....

Give this a try when you get a chance......

1 degree toe out front

45degree front roll bar

40 fronts 37 rears (0.5mm split i.e. 60mm front, 60.5mm rear)

yellow front springs, red rear springs

35wt all around but 2 hole piston front, 3 hole piston rear

5mm front & 5.5mm rear ride height

rear diff 20k

stratus 3.1 body and if you don't have wing rules, cut the wing 1mm above the cutting line when you prep the body. when mounting the body on the car, make sure it's not too forward.

what radio and servos are you using?
do you have a picture of the track?
