well i'm waiting for my new 720 '08 to be delivered and i'm looking for advice on option parts. should i get the regular or lipo battery pack? brass battery tray? anything needed for the clutch, springs or clutch pads? does anyone have gear ratio advice, do i need to get different gears from stock? basically any tips that need to be thrown out there, i'm moving up to the 720 '08 from my ntc3 so any advice would be great.

What size track and is it technical? What motor do you have. The car is good stock. Coming from the ntc3, I would not go crazy with options (unless you want to). They are not needed, just set-up the car for the track and you will be fine. From there you can buy other things. Good things that I like are the LCG and brass battery tray. I do not use the front stiffener for the LCG, but some people like it. If you get the brass tray then the lipo helps keep the weight down to normal. I use all alum. screws on the upper part of the car and all stock ones on the lower part of the car. I am about 30-40 grams lite and then put weight in the places I like them.

Let me start by saying I am a team driver, so that no one bashes me later on. I will only use products that I feel I can win with. Twisters are just as good as any other brand out there. They are a great tire at a great price. You should give them a try. They have a web site if you google them.

I have tried the Kawahara's but not the GRP'S!! I currently run the Jaco brand. The Kawahara vs the Jaco was in my opinion to aggresive of a change. The Kawahara's seem to make the car snap in the middle of the corner where the Jacos were very stable from corner entry to corner exit!! In other words a 40 shore from both brands where in no way similar!! I wouldn't mind trying the GRP"S but they seem to be hard to find. Well let me say that I can find them but the price is a little high!!

I am using the swap 1mm new Steering Block and I can't get the front track width down to 198 or even 199mm. Anyone have this problem, any suggestion?

I remember i shaved the A-arms edge when switching to the new steering block., this way you'll get it around 198 easily.
