DJ, could you please comment on the:

1) do you consider a must for this setup the brass battery tray and the 30grams in the bumper? if yes, why?
2) tire size, do you intend to enter the 30 mins final with 60.5/59? what is the min acceptable diameter and difference rear/front at the end?
3) is the DR 75% in the acceptable range with this setup?
4) does the front solid cause premature wear to certain parts like front cvds or anything else?

1. In low bite the brass battery tray and weight in the front is not a big teal. 2. Tire size is hard to say. It all depands on tire wear. I run qualifiers with a 1.5 split and for finals I work backwards. (Lets say I can run down to 56 rears, then I add all the tire wear I am going to get to that number. The I add 1mm to that number to be safe.)
3. I would use 90-100% in your case.
4. the front solid does wear certain items more; cvd/bones, outdrives, etc, however not that much to worry about. Just keep everything oiled and greased.

Hope this helps,

Hello again,
DJ just 2 more questions:
1) How many degrees the car should steer on the setup system with DR 100%? My car steers 28 degrees.
2) so you consider acceptable to end a race with 56/55? My continuous questions about this same thing is because I try to understand where is the sweet spot of the tire. Between 61 and 56 or between 64 and 59, let's say.

Thanks once more
Dimitris

1. I have not ever done it that way, sorry. I just eye ball it.
2. It is different for every track. The more bumps the larger tire is better. The flatter the track the smaller tire is better.

Hey Endy if you have the funds you should get the hudy set-up fixtures I believe ashfordhobby.com has them for 145. This will be more accurate and you will be able to do toe as well as camber.
