Well, after wanting to get into Nitro on-road for nearly 20 years I'm finally doing it. I have a 720 on the way!
Started racing in 1986 when I was 13 down in South Florida. I ran 1/12 with the local club, but would always head out to the 1/8 races when I got a chance. As I got better in those first couple of years, a few guys would let me wheel their cars for a couple laps. I would always be watching guys like Art Carbonell, Ray Schneider, and John Hall...ready to fill up a gas tank for them!
Just with college, starting a career, moving north, etc...I just never got around to it. Ended up sticking with electric everything over the years, but finally decided that it's now-or-never.
Many of you here know DJ...he and I grew up racing together in those days. His dad ran a track in Miami, and we would be there nearly every Friday night together. I also know Doug McNeely from his days at the old Orange Blossom Hobbies. It's great to have these friends to turn to with a question, and I'll sure have plenty!
Looking forward to talking with many of you in the future.

Knack Dampers
Just got some New Knack Dampers for the 720 I also put some on my 960 tested last Sunday down at my local track the front shocks gave me some forward grip on the inside turn the back shock give me some great traction kept the backend really smooth so I decided to go that route with the 720.

Rear Floating Body Mount
Hi Guys
Has anyone installed the new rear floating body mount onto their 720?
If you have, can a normal touring car body fit onto this new mount without affecting the rear spoiler mounts or affect anything on the touring car body?
Thanks
Acid

What do mean with "new knack dampers"
Is it the shock mount or is it a new make of shock?
