That was sorta the last straw and i could see it wasn't going to withstand my bashing.

I am now having similar quality issues with the G4S... or it could be just my bad driving

Clutch configuration / maintainence is very important. I grease my thrust bearing before every meet and have very little free play. Believe me the 720 is better also dogbones are a good idea just take out the small grub screw that holds the dogbone to the axle as it's not required(the bearing will stop the shaft coming out when it's all together).

Always happy to answer your questions as others have done for me.

You drove a great race DJ, not letting the turm marshal blunder getting you down. Your 720 looked so good, especially when it was gliding through the esses with ease leaving the others in your dust. You gave yourself a very good birthday present!!!! Congratulations!!!! Will you be at Homestead RC Raceway for the benefit race this Sunday?

Hi Guys

I am about to install 2 x Futaba 9550 servos into my new S720 and i am not sure if i should use those thin plastic spacers supplied with the kit. The instructions do not show them being used:S

Also, when i rotate the 2 speed shaft there is abit of a clicking noise... I am guessing it is from the brake disc as when i put my finger on the disc it goes away...

Look forward to hearing from you all soon

S710_Nut

You dont need to use them but make sure you use the rubber groument that come with the servo, about the clicking sound it also could be your belt that its not centered....

Thanks.

The clicking could also be if you have the brake pully pushed in too far.

Roniel_R:

Thank you

I have ditched those rubber grommets off the servo along time ago... any tips for installation without them for the Futaba 9550?

Also with the belt, could it be the shield on the brake pulley being around the wrong way? I know it caused the belt to click on my G4 when it was incorrect?
