Shafts= Easy maintnenss.
Shafts= Faster out of corners.
Belts= Faster Top end.
Belts= Better for loose surfaces.

only if you race on a crappy track thats got stones on it

yeah it more of a problem for shafts as under the gearbox is a airhole which is easy for stones to get between the gears a stripping.

smart thinking. to bad shafts dont expand it just keeps pushing until the stone wins.
Im glad it hasn't happened to me.

Thats not saying that shafts arn't good. Im sure the FW-05RR or a Ofna CD3 or NTC3 are just as good cars.
Shafts and Belts both have possitives and Negatives.

Kyosho as the FW series which shaft and V-one series which is belt...
Mugen only has belt with the exception of off road. Mugen had a shaft car before though. (prime 12) Serpent only has belt. Team Magic - belt, Ofna - belt and shaft, Tamiya - belt for EP and shaft for GP, HPI - belt and shaft, etc....
