Alien, do you still driving your V1R?
Well, I used to drive V1R also! One think I notice is the drivetrain is a bit tight. If you push the car, the car won't move far!
In my local track I always a problem with this! the rear of the car tends to slide during the off trottle!

Recently, I just bought the MTX-2 Prospec. I like it so much! the "feel" is just like electric car! very smooth!

If I compare it with my V1R, my MTX-2 is much better out of the box!

Big difference between the quality of bearings from the original MTX and the new PRO.

The original MTX did not have sealed bearings, and there was a short life span on them (as with any other bearing).

The new MTX Pro has ALL sealed bearings, except for the 2 that on the front one way and the side belt tensioner. The rest are all sealed.

Secondly, not sure who started this MTX-3 rumour, but I doubt Mugen will release a new car next year. The PRO is only a few months old. I've heard that there is a possible 1/10 IC car to replace the Advance, but nothing else.

Finally - Mugen Vs Kysoho?
Both cars are equal with very little difference between them. You've heard this before, but it comes down to the driver. Go with the car that offers the best support in your area.

Finally....

X Ray,

Yeap, I am still driving my V1R and still like it. However, have not drive it lately as I am quite busy at work. So far, I dont have much to complain about the car, except that I still believe MTX2 feels stronger overall. (Having said that, I have never drive the MTX, I just have the honour to touch it. )

WRT the MTX3 rumor, just a blind guess as the MTX2 is about 2 years old and MRX3 just won WC with a 'revolutionary' design.

Except from work, I am also tied up with my MetalGear 2.

Actually I think adding those parts would change your V-One R to a V-One RH. The RH stands for Really HardKore considering all of the hop-ups you have on that beast.
