It's kinda worthless practicing with something other than you race with.

Jaco's and Twisters are only $30 a set. There are many others that come in just above $30/set....... Ennetti's, GQ, Spyder, etc........

I'm gonna get some Twisters soon.

Does anybody know how the shore-rating of Twisters is compared to Jaco's?
I read somewhere that Twisters are harder.
Do I have to take 37 Twisters to have the same hardness as 40 Jaco's??

When ready for good tires go to GQ's. Yes a bit pricier, but will last twice as long as the $9 to $10 cheap tires with rims that break or go out of shape before tire wear. Less chucking also... glued completely, not edges like twister etc. Come packed in plastic sealed bag for freshness. Just all around good tires. Try some one time and see... I was amazed at their grip and how strong the rims are when one glances off a wall...not me of course... lol

As you can see: I have GQ's at the moment.
They look good with my body!

But Twisters are easier to get here and a little cheaper.

Looking good on the car is about the only thing GQ's may be good at that is of course if you want to put your car in concourse.

The only opinion I have on tires other than above is to choose a brand and a range of shore ratings and go from there. If you go changing brands even if they come fromm the same factory will tell you nothing about car setup.

The above are my views and I'm sure someone will disagree but the whole idea of a forum is to express a point of view.
