Definitely OS 12 TZ....with the right time and right coupon, it might be sub $180 USD.

I wouldn't mess with the STS motors. Something with the way they do the Piston and sleeves is different and they seem to lose life pretty quick. I had one a while back and got less than a gallon through it before performance went south. It wasn't really that fast either. The TZ is the way to go for cheap performance.

What about the TZ 5port? Is that ROAR legal and is that overdoing it? cause iam seeing the prices pretty much the same for both and the 5-port seems to be more powerfull. Oh then do the engines come with a pipe or do i need to get another pipe?

STS are lottery tickets... 1 in 10 million are good... Go with the 3 port.

Im not taking credit away from the ZX12, but I see it as a "pro" engine. The tuning on the engine is very meticulous, and I have seen too many carb o-rings cause overheat. Between the ZX12 and the TZ theres about $20 difference in price (engine) and about $10 difference in replacement parts. The last decision comes down to you.

TZ doesnt include pipe, and only ZX12's powerpack does. Best combo pipe for the engine is Skyline VR12. Good powerband around everything.
