Default Hyper .21 8 port

Does anyone here have any insights pertaining to this engine. I hear that the makers of it basically copied an older RB, is this in any way correct? Do any other engines use a turbo-fan like this? How much room is open for improvement, alot I reckon', thats why I think I am going to buy one and send it to Smeltz Racing. Who knows of an aftermarket cooling head w/a 4 bolt pattern?- maybe from an Ofna T8? Thanks

If you weren't, you should have been.

If you're the expert you claimed to have been, you would know that you can pick up an aftermarket head - all of them are 4 bolt pattern - O'Donnel makes a ton of them, Crazy Nut makes a good one, etc. etc. etc.

Keep hauling your trash.

Default yay,,,Boomer!

Shut your mouth, hater. You wish you earned $25 an hour. Anyway, almost every head I've seen on .21 engines is six bolt pattern, so it looks like you are the retard.

The days I earned $25/hour are long behind me and far ahead of you.

But, I am one to admit a mistake. . .they DO have 6 bolts. DOH!

arent hyper engines cheap ofna engines?

what are you using it for?

i think hyper engines arent very reliable do you really think spending money to modify it is a good idea?

i bought a ofna picco comp 0-1 this summer and it is really fast and i THINK its a better engine than the hypers

But I would like to keep a pullstart for those days when I dont want to pack my starter-box. The Hyper engines have recieved acclaim across Assia and the world for being the most affordable, reliable 2 stroke engine. All while consistantly putting out 2hp. Picco makes the o-1 yes? I believe the Italian company's name alone adds to the price, therefore making a modded pullstart Hyper 8 port(really an RB clone) $230, unique(engraved head...), and possibly quicker. Oh yeah, the Hyper engines are built by a Taiwaneese company Ho Bao Enterprises Ltd. Their factory looks appropriately impressive.

It's a good idea etahn - My box has been somewhat, ummm, glitchy for a while (after a friend left it in the bed of his truck for a week. . . ) and I wouldn't have minded having a good pullstart motor.

The RB, though, is a Rossi motor, so what is that motor a clone of?

My neighbor behind me has one and it is a decent motor, but then he bought an OS from me and it kicks that things a$$ hard!!! I would trust the Italian manufacturers over the Taiwan cloner manufacturer. . .
