The video of Ralph Burch in qualifier #5 is now posted in Saturday's
report on SGrid Online Magazine. It's not nearly as long (big) as the
one posted on Friday's report. Watching the video, I can't imagine how a human being can be so perfect, lap after lap after lap. Ralph is really something special! ....but then again, there are some other racers right on his heels - Mike Swauger is just a hair under the 16-lap qualifying mark.
The length of the Finals has been changed - the 1/8 open class runs for
an hour, and the Masters class runs for 45 minutes. Racing action
starts at 9am.
11 cars placed in the lower finals sounds right, as with two bump-ups it brings the number of cars up to 13, which I think is what they were planning on running. As was stated earlier, with the track being so large and with a lot of room on the driver's stand, 13 cars per race isn't as crowded as it sounds.
Tire changes will be an important part of the final. It should be a great race to watch!

You can go to www.tsrcar.com and click on the JLap logo on the right hand side
Under "Race Results Now On Line!" you can bring up qualifying results and also the posting of the Mains with "Mains Listing"
If you click the logo under "National Coverage LIVE!!" it is supposed to show live racing, but it is not!
