Default Thanks Serpent

These comments are my personal opinions, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of TSRCAR.

I would like to extend a huge thanks to Team Serpent. Thank you in advance for Serpent's support of this National event. Your support demonstrates your committment not only to your team racers, but to the average racer as well.

Again, Thanks Serpent!

I'll be coming up with a good size group from St Louis for this race. How is the Mugen parts support around the track (is there a hobby shop close - or will someone at the event be selling parts)?

Thanks for the help.

I would recommend bring the parts you think you will need.
There is a hobby store about 20 minutes away, but I don't think the parts support is very extensive.

Thumbs up

I'm sure that there will be enough Mugen & Kyosho
drivers attending the NATS that there will not be a
real problem in obtaining necessary parts for you or
anybody to make their runs / races if there are
no trackside vendors / sellers.

See ya there!

Qual points actually counts your best 2 rounds out of 6. Based upon your qual points qualifying position, you will end up either directly the final (probably the top eight) or one of the semi's. There will be bump ups from each of the lower mains until the 12 finalists are seeded. The dead last qualifier has the opportunity to make the final.
As for parts, there will be many trackside dealers available, not one large vendor. I know all the factory teams will be there but I don't know how prepared they are to support the masses, but there will be at least 4 trackside guys there that I know of.
The track is in perfect order and should be a great event!

Thanks for the replies guys. How about tires? I've got to buy some before heading up and usually just run 35s all the way around. If we get there and 38s are the ticket - will there be anyone selling tires? Thanks

Yes, there will be tires. I know BSR is a sponsor and they will have tires, as well as others I'm sure.

The Race packet states

14 Retail Sales - No “Parts” will be sold at the track without approval of the Tri-State RC Auto Racers

so is there list from Tri-State RC Auto Racers of the approved retail sellers

tpczx6, I'm currently aware of two, a gentlemen from Texas bringing in a trailer and another local retailer.

nsupra - Yes, approximately 30 spaces remain.

I'd go to www.weather.com and type in the tracks zip code for the latest information and for the forecast. "45011"
