nice new details on this XT8 2017

small changes actually because it all looks quite the same as the previous one ! i find it funny how they insist on each NEW details, but that's advertising and xray does a good job at it !

the new rear chassis braces look good too : the old round ones were lame !

IMO, the best changes are STRONGER ( i hope BIGGER ) diff pins !
i run a brushless converted old xt8 and i was fed up breaking them so i put MUGEN buggy diffs ( with mugen diff pinion ) in the xray diff box !! and it works nicely on 6s power !

i know that it is a racing kit and it is was not meant for 6s torque !

so anyway, i think it would be a great brushless truggy, if not the best !

The pins are 2.5mm, which is standard size. The new large diff cases look nice in terms of fluid capacity.

I think its goofy one is not supplied.

But i rarely use the kit bodies anyways. Heck i remember back when kits used to come with tires. When they quit guys complained even though they never used them. Now we are just happy if we get a set of wheels with it. Most onroad kits dont come with bodies either. So a race kit without a body isnt very shocking to me, Just out of the norm for off road.

Adding a body to a European built kit makes for a much bigger box and thus a whole lot more $$ for freight to US. I'd rather have lower kit prices and buy a domestic body. IMO

Default Body included or not

To me it doesnt matter matter that Xray decided on no body for there truggy. Its been clear for years they focus more on the buggy than truggy. Last truggy released everyone complained about the body..... it was to old ..... outdated body style. There price tag is good for what they offer. I have built every kit out there and Xray has never let me down in durability and performance.

Does anyone know what body will work on this new Truggy and what the Wheel offset will be, I heard the old Truggy had an odd offset.
