Is there an app for iPhone that can provide me with live timing each lap during practice? I want to have instant feedback during practice, just to improve consistency and speed.

You can use Speedhive if the track has MyLaps timing system.

My track has mylaps and I can see my laptimes in my phone after each session. How do I set up Speedhive so I can get my laptimes anounced for each lap in my headset?

You install the Speedhive app and under my results you will see all your practices.
The first one is the active one and it should say live in the upper corner (does on Android and I know people using g it also on iPhone).

That's very cool. I've been wondering this for years! OP asking about a verbal notification of lap time each time you cross the line. I'll assume without buying his own timing system....

Speedhive will give you verbal notification of laptime every time you cross the line (there is some 10+/- seconds delay)
