You know that RTR stands for "ready to replace"

only thing I've replaced on this RTR are a few zip ties on the coupler, an air filter(std. maintenance) and a glow plug.

Hey Guyon,

I noticed you use the starter box. Does it line up perfect because I noticed the flywheel is a bit up in the cutout then Im used to. My son's Kyosho RTR the flywheel is right there.

I want to get a starterbox asap but I don't want to get the engine mounts, back plate, etc just yet, if at all. Eyeing that Reds W7 w/ tuned pipe for a wedding anniversary gift lolol.

I use the Robitronic one

I just need to move the car a little bit to a side then it works perfectly.

Its not the cheaperst though.
How did u set the shocks? Can you post a pic? Mine seems to be a bit meh, idk how to change them though... for sure i need to rais a bit the back

^^^Thanks. SO the starter wheel makes good contact with the flywheel with no issues?

As for the shocks, when you want to raise or lower the ride height, use the black round "spacer" and either turn it clockwise or counter clockwise, depending on which direction you want to go.

Takes a bit to position it the first time, then it just works perfectly
I'll have to play around with them a bit to find a good setup!

Start with front arms level in relation to the ground. Rear arms can be level or slightly below level for a bit more rear traction.

so those tires that come with the RTR work awesome on wet/damp & muddy dirt! Raced yesterday at a makeshift track the locals use. There was 10 of us on a tight technical, damp wet track with a few small puddles here and there. I made a change to the wheelbase(spacers in back to shorten the wheelbase) and it was dialed! I was able to TQ and win by a whole lap! 30 minute main. I got into the zone in the 2nd half of the race and essentially put "my head down" and ran away with it at a blistering pace!!!

The new shocks and towers with the extra adjustments really helped. THe rear was planted. THe local guys running full out kits couldn't believe it started out as a RTR. Its pretty much a 3.0 with a pull start! lolol

Even my son couldn't believe how fast it was!

Love this buggy. I think I want a truggy now. And a E-buggy.

mental note though...don't race on these conditions again. Its a PITA to clean
