I know for a fact the the truggy is not a rumour as for the rest of the product line you can try and guess whether if they are just rumours or otherwise.

350 super silicone equals 27.5wt in associated and 30 wt in Losi. I run 30 losi in the rear and 32.5 in front (closest to 400). There is a nice conversion chart at http://www.twf8.ws/php/tip/shock.html , it's a european 1/8th scale site. Lots of good tech info there.

When is the World's?

I would love to see a Mugen purpose-built truggy, with proper extended arms (instead of extended hubs).

Why would Mugen release a new buggy so quickly? I thought the buggy did ver well this past year? Nervous a bit?

The MbX5 has been out since 2003 so I guess it's not too fast. Compared to Kyosho that's like 1 model release to 4 over the same amount of time.

What I read on neobuggy it looks like its gonna be something like kyosho did go from sp1 to sp2 like small changes. I really dont think there is a need for all new suspension geometry changes and a new layout. Hopefully they will be smart and realease a conversion kit

i hope they have

1. better shock bodies
2. brake cam bearings not bushings.
3. Pivit ball adjustment like the CL-1

The currnet Mugen shocks are not hard anodized. The coating wears off on the inside and turns the oil into black molasses.
I just read a post on another forum saying that somebody confirmed there will be a truggy coming out next October based on the new MBX-6.

If they do the upgrade, I hope they make the steering plate available separately since I won't need the shocks. Just picked up some Kellum Machine Works shocks and built them last night. SUPER smooth and extremely low maintance.
