"On the prospec model can someone tell me the differences in the blocks that are , -1,-2,-3. and there is also a 0 in my kit. When would you use one over the other? thanks"

if you dont know what does blocks are for, or you dont have an x5, i suggest you not answer, coz uneducated information like yours really confuses people

Xing,
OK you are talking about Blocks of deg. 0 deg, 1 deg...
the only thing I can gather is the rear toe-in is what you are talking about.
0 is zero toe in which will give less corner rotation than a 3 deg. I often use more rear toe in on smaller tighter tracks.

All 8th scale buggies have the same setup tools other then pivet ball sterring and C hub sterring.

I hope this helps if not please be more exact on your question.

Are you talking to me? Kickup is kickup no matter how it's adjusted. My information is correct. If the poster doesn't know what parts do what, that's his problem. If you want to talk about uneducated, what do you mean by "does" and "coz"? I know you're from california so I wont hold that against you but you need to lay off the crack.

Front inboard toe and kickup are different. Antisquat is a setting for the rear of the chassis and is not the same as kickup. You need to stop telling this guy incorrect information he's not asking about.

anyway the 0, -1, -2, -3 blocks are the front toe blocks.

nice explaination about kickup but those blocks are not related to kickup. so why are you giving info on kickup for?

I never knew talking about 0,1,2,3 can cause such trash talk.

good thing we are not talking about binary numbers.

0010 = 2

Does anyone know if there is a 48 tooth spur that would work for the mbx-5?I know a kyosho center diff does not fit in the mbx-5 and the kyosho gear didnt fit on the mugen diff drum.

The 0,-1,-2,-3 front toe blocks do not adjust toe. They remove kick up from the front lower arms to adjust front end dive/anti squat. -1 is the most common setting.

I think that Mugen sells a 44t spur gear but not a 48t.

I saw the 44 a while ago..Im looking to gear the other way though without going to a 12t c/b...I do not want to run 5x8 bearings the only 12 tooth bell I saw takes 5x8, those wont last long thats for sure.
