Just to give my $.02. I've been running the Picco engines and knock on wood I have never had a flame out from an engine issue. I went to the team spec and now to the Triton L4 & L5. $300 + $100 pipe. The power is extremely linear and will run with anything on the market. Give lance a call at Tritonrc. 10min pits are the norm. I also run the composite buku clutch system. The track I club race at goes from loose to black grove so I just turn 3 screws as the traction comes up. The tritons tune a little different once the low speed is good then you only adjust the high speed to temp changes. There is not an engine available that has a more stable idle.

+1 on the triton engines. I tuned one in for a buddy. They run strong and hard, idle steady and don't disappoint like most picco based engines. They are a short needle carb so the LSN can hide a rich idle. I tuned one in for a buddy and the LSN was 1h+ rich. When I got done it was a rocket.

Get a REDS R5S or R5TE v3 with a 2104 pipe. Monster power and 10-11 min runtimes. A REDS Quattro clutch would make it complete.
