Default CEN diff conversion kit

OK, here is the scope on the new non LSD style diffs.
I was told today by CEN Racing that the new CEN standard diffs will be many months away before they hit the store shelves.

In the mean time, Machine's R/C Hobbies will be selling a non Cen aftermarket Matrix/TR Arena standard diff conversion kit. This hop-up conversion kit includes standard style cross pins, washers, and shims to eliminate the gear plates found in the LSD style Matrix diffs. When installed and shimed correctly, these diffs operate just like an Ofna/Kyosho style diff but smoother and makes the buggy/truggy much easier to drive and more adjustable since you don't have to use only grease. They will work with the plastic or alumn diff cases. These are what I and Kyle Sokol have been using in our cars/trucks. I TQ'd and won Truck and Buggy at the FSORS last weekend with them.

I am having 20 sets made right now. They should be ready to ship Monday Jan 22nd. I am taking pre-orders starting now. If they sell out by the end of the week, I will have more made as needed the following week and I will accept back orders.

E-mail me for prices or to place an order. Free standard shipping.

Here is what each kit includes:

This is what it looks like installed:

The 1st batch of cross pin sets have been claimed. If you e-mailed me, send your payment info by Monday to hold them. Otherwise they will go to the next on the list.

If anyone else wants to back order them for the next run, let me know so I know how many to have made.

4 Cen Racing Matrix TR Arena's made the A-main at the 2007 Losi Nitro Winter Champs. Also, me and Chris Sytsma made the A-mian in buggy with the Matrix Pro.

Also, I have more Matrix cross pins in stock.

Great Job! I know everyone is crazed about the 8ight but they should really take a look at the matrix TR and buggy, especially with the diff changes as from what I hear people are saying the vehicles become almost too easy to drive.

I ran the car with the new diffs on saturday and WOW! Car is planted now. Stuck with a 5/7/2 setup and felt good except with a little push. Gonna try 5/5/2 in a week.

For $39.99 is that for a full set of cross pins, Front, center, Rear or just 1 set?

And if I recall correctly, it uses the stock gears or do I need something more than just the cross pins?

Thanks for all your help and great job at that Losi Race! Any pics of you guys with the Matrix Buggy from it?

I just picked up a very lightly used Matrix RTR buggy. I have to say for an RTR, this thing is built like a tank. Good amount of Aluminum that might be considered hop-ups on other cars. Very stout. I'm excited to run it this weekend.

Hopefully I can keep the Orion Wasp .28 tuned, I've heard some people have issues with them. Some say to turn the middle needle all the way in and it should be okay. We'll see.

That was my impression with the first Matrix RTR version I had come in. That one was a shelf queen and I sold it for a profit but was impressed enough to pick up another one.

I am going to think about that pin upgrade seriously.
