Dragonman,

During some testing i found out that using direct links as "upper arms" gave me better steering response, the car came very very agile on technical tracks with the mod, with the front of it making short/fast curves very good.

cya,

Andrew, Two of the CEN driver's pitting with you had different wing mounts. are they modded stock matrix or are they rematrix parts? It was nice to meet you and see you get 2nd in your heat race.

This is Corey Johnson's Cen Matrix Buggy with the new BCE Chassis and the Jammin super big bore shocks. You can see where we ground down the Jammin shock post to get the shocks to fit less inclined. Corey said the buggy had better handling with the super big bores. He put the chassis on Thursday night before qualifying and really liked the BCE Chassis, once again
better handling. I will post more info on the chassis once they get
back to FL. The team will be testing all day today with new parts
coming for the Matrix II. Justin and Corey run the new upper A-arms at
the Nats. If you look close you can see them in the picture. Looking
forward to getting the new lightened drive train and shocks. From what
we have seen the new Matrix II is going to be a very durable and
competitive car. Andrew and Gene have really done there homework.

I will get my daughter to get some pictures of testing today if Andrew
will allow it. I will post them once they get home.

That chassis looks great. How does the buggy handle with the BCE chassis?

Anybody care to explain why is BCE better than the stock FRE chassis? And I notice that the BCE doesn't have the hole for the chassis brace hump..

The BCE chassis is lighter and it is supposed to help improve handling. I think the reason the BCE chassis doean't have the hole for the chassis brace it to allow for more chassis flex which is probably what helps improve the handling of the buggy.
