There is no bladder, so the shocks are smooth and consistent through the whole shock stroke. Also, it holds about 30% more oil, so the oil does not heat up and thin out during long races.

How much is cen looking to charge for the hardened ones?

Also, do you know why you guys went to the .28 SH in the Matrix TR instead of the one you were doing? Will we see something like this happen in the Matrix buggy? personally, if you guys would do a .21 in there would like it better so it is legal out of the box but thats me. SH .21's are pretty cheap to.

By the way, what chassis comes in the Matrix Pro kit? the Long or the short?

I ran the resivors on my buggy this past weekend just to try them, and they worked pretty good, I wasn't on a very rough track, but after 35 min or running, the car was the same from start to end,

here is the info from CENS site, listing what part numbers you need,

http://www.cenracing.com/newproduct/newshock.html

one note with them, you dont use the clam shell washer things in the upper mounts, the resivoirs just pop onto the steel mounts and then the normal screw and washer keeps them from poping back off, I was confused at first when I tried to put them on the clam shell things, lol

whats a good general diff fluid setting to go with the stock diffs. Assuming no grease and 1K minimums? I was thinking of going with 3K all around to start.

Thats interesting as it was my understanding that the stock diffs (no pin conversion ) required lighter oil.

Thanks for the info guys. Gene, any opinions? I remember reading 3K square on one of the setups if I recall from the team. Andrew's possibly?

Also, any plans for cen to release a Type R matrix or Pro spec with the lastest team changes built in?

No, but late next year (2008) or in 2009 we may have a Matrix 2.

Andy and I are always trying and testing new things. If CEN takes the time to release a new a new kit, it will be an all new car.
