Hey everyone! I've got a huge lot of Matix parts for sale.

See below link

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...10#post3214310

At my whole lot price, even a retailer could make a decent proffit.

Did most of my breakin with my Matrix yesterday, need about 500cc to go and can start tuning for performance (based on what OS says). Only issue buggy wise was that the hexes would not stay on. I cranked them down pretty well but would lose the fronts every so often.

I take it everyone is threadlocking the hexes? I figured I couldn't get a good threadlock (blue) connection since they got dirty after coming off. but will clean them up and try again.

Do the Kyosho 17mm hexes fit on the CEN Matrix? I know that the sportwerks ones do.

No, but Xray & Mugen will fit, but the CEN Matrix 17mm fit the best.

Thanks. The issue I am having is that the 17mm nuts for the wheels I am using have NO room where I can put a socket wrench to them. I am not sure why they are like this, but thats how they are.

Will have to see about getting different wheels.

Which premounted wheels work well with the matrix?

They have a recessed hole area around the size of what GRP and Treadz use. I'll take a pic tonite and post. There litterally is like no room between the nut and the tire wall to get a socket in there. I am thinking of maybe dremeling them alittle to make room. I like the tires on the wheels and I like the style of the wheels too.

here is a pic of what I mean. As you can see, there really isn't any room to fit a tool in there. Even a really thin walled one like a Kyosho.

These are the tires from suprasales on ebay. The tires themselves work great, and the wheels are nice and stiff and feel durable. I just don't understand why the space is so small. I may dry dremeling them out.

Is that all the further you can get the nut on? Looks like your only holding on with one thread, if that. Think I would just look into some new wheels
