No RGX makes their own body for the Matrix. The CEN body is a lot different then the RGX one. Just look at some pictures of it.

Agreed. I have the Matrix RTR version of the buggy, and the body is way different than the Intruder body.

I like the RGX body so far, took paint well, just wish it had the overspray film on it and the dimples for the body posts wree more pronounced but no big deal.

I don't know if it's because the plastic in this piece is soft, or if it's because the holes are just a hair too big, but I was not happy at all with the way the screws failed to get a good bite in it. I could run them in, but I was afraid If I tightened them much they would strip so I put in these threaded inserts.

Mine have never come loose. But the screws on the radio box do come loose. Juts check them every so often.

Thanks, I was hoping that was the case. I'll keep an eye on box screws.

Hey Gene, just wondering if you could give me some more details on how you cut a rear tower, to create your front brace on the front tower, and used the rest to double up the rear. I would really like to give that a try, but want to be sure of were and what I'm cutting before hacking away on a $40 part.

Thanks

Anyone got any thoughts on what servos are good these days? I've got a set of air 359's to put in my matrix, but they are getting kind of old so I'm thinking about replacing them. What brand seems to be holding up best these days? I've always had good luck with the 359 in buggy, but I've heard their quality was slipping from a few years ago.

Also, has anyone tried any of the robot servos?

Last of all, what are your thoughts on li-po for nitro receiver packs? I've heard so many conflicting things about what's required to go li-po in nitro I'm worse off then when I started asking. Some say I can run a spek system with 7.4V and no regulator as long as I'm using HD servos. I've also been told I'd need a special 6.7V regulator to run li-po with the spek or I'll have servo issues. Horizon said I could run the spek on 7.4V without a regulator at all with any servo, and someone else told me I needed a 7V regulator. I'd also like some kind of low voltage warning for the battery and I'm wondering if any regulator exists with this feature.

I just picked up this for my matrix:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300099715077

Anyone know if these come with instructions or something on them to tell what setting you are configuring? If not, how can I measure and check?
