Default glueing tyres

Now the clue I used for 10th has really let me down, pulled the inside of the tyre off. Now I have little rips in the beId of the tyre and had to use super glue to try to repair it. But I think 2 tyres are not going to hold.

So my question is how to mount new tyres on new rims and what glue and the method of doing it please? only raced nitro 7 times and first time on buying this way round. I normally buy pre glued tyres

If you plan on gluing your own 1/8 buggy tires, I would highly recommend getting the Phin Design gluing jig. Also clean the rim as well as the tire. The above posted video does not mention cleaning the rim.

Joey's Tire jig (Phin Design jig) is a miracle worker on 1/8th scale buggy tires ;-)

I put the tire on the rim, then using a slightly thicker glue then most i put a blob on the bead, then using gravity and pressure massage the glur around the tire, i usually put 3 blobs for each tire. This is the easiest method ive found for gluing tires, takes a while but id rather take ages and only glue them once rather then the alternative

really??? 1/8 tires are way easier to glue than 1/10! its called preparation and seating the bead well.

really??? have you even tried a jig. it makes gluing tires an easy job. takes 10 mins to glue a set not 30 mins. no glue on fingers. the bead is set perfectly. no dicking around trying to get the bead set.
