I see both sides of this. Everyone loves to chime in that they'd pay more for American-made products (many of those in the US, at least), and then when one finally pops up, all we hear "oh its too much." For a limited product, that's surely going to be majoritively purchased by those with fractional Pro-line sponsorships, it seems about right.

Everyone pays $289..

It might be beneficial when racing against ty and the like, but anything other than being at the top of the big show, you definitely dont need it. that 9 dollar fuel gun will suit you just fine.

I'm sure it will inspire a few other manufacturers to make something similar in design for the rest of us that don't really need 100 millisecond pit stops.

You need to renegotiate.

Pro Line sent out an email to team drivers stating that no discount would be given on the fuel stick due to limited numbers and high demand. I've already seen pictures of them on facebook, people are buying it.

im sure there will be a "budget" one down the road and the Al/Glass ones will be the shelf queens. I know my 25$ losi gun still works great.

I would be happy with a current gun like the Losi or Protek with the trigger positioned like the Fuel Stick. Shouldn't be hard to do.

They are not offering any discount to sponsored drivers for the fuel gun.

I guess I see it as - to each their own. Looks pretty nice, and I'm sure it would shave a second or nine off my pit stops, but it's a little rich for my blood. But man if that's your thing, and you got the cash, then go for it! My 'hate' is really just jealousy anyway!...lol.

Just make sure you get one so I can borrow it when we race together, and if you won't let me borrow it, then I'll at least have an excuse for why you finished in front of me!

This hobby is slowly becoming pay-to-win.
