Still waiting on the chassis. It is on backorder from LHS. Car is tore apart and I am just waiting. Also, we are just getting the snow melted outside. Hopefully after this weekend the outdoor track near me will have no snow on it.

When you say ofna big bore shocks, do you mean the 14mm ones that come on the hyper st truggy? I know there is only one set of springs for them atm. I dont think you will need the higher shocks towers for them.

yeah. the ones for the hyper st.
the springs for the hyper st aren't the too stiff? i think i've read something about kyosho springs, but you have to get the retainer aswell.
The hyper st shocks are a little longer i think. thats why i asked abot the taller shock towers.

Anyone using the Ofna chrome top blue box to start their H8's?

I switched from the Ofna compact box to the blue box, and I am having a hell of a time getting this thing aligned. It seems as if the starter wheel is so high in relation to the top chrome deck that as soon as I place my h8 on it the flywheel is nearly touching the starter wheel. My other boxes always had a little more room so the starter wheel get's a 1-2 second start before the flywheel hits.

Any suggestions.

Put some washers under the lid on the screws that bolt the lid down (might have to get longer screws), but that will lift the lid some if relation to the starter wheel, in turn, giving you more clearance between the wheel and flywheel...Hope this helps....
