Red face KK......

How about the fuel tank rubbing against the front brake pads ?. Don't you guys have this problem over there ?. BTW, now I have gone through a new tank(my 4th) joints with a 40W soldering iron to reinforce the seal & hope it can last longer.

The tanks are ultrasonic welded. The problem is in the plastics. I build molds and have plastic products in different product lines. The welds are great. The plastic is much too hard. I have seen them fracture everywhere.

I have not seen the tank hit the brakes in any way. Humm.......

Keep us updated please,
TEX

Hello guys I will be racing my H8 next sunday.... I have 2 ???
Has anyone tested the stock H8 pipe with a OS V-SPEC? How did it run?
Where can I find the setups from any of the Pro drivers(Coleman, Degani, etc)

thanks

Hey everyone;
Raced the Hyper 8 yesterday for the first time......LOVED IT! Had a hyper 7 pro a few years ago, and this buggy is much better than the hyper 7, in my opinion. Raced it on the same track, with pretty much the same track conditions as far as traction goes, and liked it alot better. Ran like a champ all day, and NO PROBLEMS!

Anyway, now I have a question.....do the hyper 7 shock spings fit the hyper 8 shocks? The stock light blue springs were a little soft yesterday, and I'm trying to get more steering out of it too....thanks in advance....Brad

Cool

Try the yellow OFNA packaged White springs. They worked great. Front first and if you like it, go with the rears in white. All of the guys around here are running these.

The only white OFNA springs I can find online are for the 9.5 series of buggies. Do you have a part number by any chance?

Also, what track conditions are you all running these springs on? Traction wise? Smooth or rutted and blown out? Big or little jumps, or both?

Thanks, Brad

I have drilled a new hole for the upper rear link on the shocktower h8. won't the link be to short?
i adjusted htey so it had the same camber as it did before i drilled. but i think it needs to be longer, because it isn't enough threads on the link.

Do i need to replace it with a longer one?
And wich should i purchase?

i would go with the mugen grey's they are a stiifer spring and if you put them on all around the car will be a lot more stable thru the bumps but it will not be as aggresive. i tried them this weekend at the silver state track but went back to the stock springs cause the car was more aggressive. but if you want stiffer you will be happy with these, you could also try mugen blues that will be my next test
