Are you racing or bashing? What is your budget?

Werks B5, Alpha A852 or Novarossi P5XLT. All these engines are about $200 and another $50-80 for a pipe. Possibly a little less if you can find a used pipe in good shape. These engines are great in trucks and easy to use/tune.

x2.

An RB Blast is worth a look too..(made of high quality Novarossi-made parts..)

If you want to spend more, Picco P5X. If you really want to spend, OS Speed or the new rebranded Speed from Amain.. The Hudy Royal FX is popular too..

But if you're newish, stay cheap.. If you're totally new, maybe even a Werks B2...

Of all those, for truggy I'd probably go for the Picco.. Lot of happy Picco people out there it seems.. Big power, easy to tune, etc..

If you dont have a budget.

Novarossi KEEP OFF
Novarossi Virtus
NovaRossi Bonito
Orion Factory Team 5P or 7P (never ran the 7P)
OS Speed

I will strongly recommend the factory suggest pipes. They run about $130 or so for the header and pipe.

I have been running savages and other trucks for like 6 years now. I just want to get into racing, sence I got a truggy now. So all the pipes they recommend is the ones I should stay with.

I can vouch the OS Speed goes like a rocket on a truggy....and it's not even completely broken in yet!
