There was a change over in US distribution. Not sure how that outcome directly affected A Main, but it looks like it did.
Seems like it would be easier for you to get parts directly from the UK dist of Agama, though, which is Nemo Racing, but maybe the exchange rate makes it more expensive, I would not know.
If it is cheaper for you to order from the US, you might contact user Jaz240 on here. He is a huge stocking dealer for Agama based out of Arizona.
Hope that helps.

I think it has everything to do with not having a wholesale distributor here in the U.S.
You'll notice on Amainhobbies website that you can backorder items that aren't in stock. This basically means that Amain has a wholesale distributor that they can pass those backorders onto, and they'll get it.
Right now if you try to order more of an Agama part than what is available, it will not allow you to backorder it - it restricts your quantity to the number on their warehouse shelf. This is because they don't have a distributor to pass those backorders onto.
Of course, if Amain and Nemo Racing USA connect and offer wholesale prices to Amain, that could all change. However, Nemo Racing could hold onto their wholesaler status and become exclusive in the U.S.
Only time will tell....
And, yes, there are still places to get every Agama part still. Redrock Hobbies, Absolute Hobbyz, ebay too of course.

Thank you to all who mentioned us. We do have every part and option part in stock right now but still only an eBay store for online sales. We are shooting for a May 1st launch of our website www.redrockhobbies.com
I was told also by Nemo racing that A main is interested in continuing to carry the brand but Nemo is having issues getting their USA website live just like we are. I cannot tell you how many man hours go into getting 5000 products uploaded to a website. I applaud A main for being able to stay on top of it all for all these years with probably 500,000 products. They must have an entire team working round the clock to stay on top of it all.

Every items needs to have a certain size photograph attached to it and the photo file name has to match the item name, every item needs to be priced for walk in customers, eBay customers and website customers because the pricing cannot be the same. Every item needs to be researched for MAP pricing. Every item needs to catogorized and then needs to be couples with all the correct catagories it may apply to. The list goes on and on. I wish it was as simple as uploading a spreadsheet.

If only it was that simple. Every item needs to be weighed and measured in packaging and out of packaging. Every shipping container including boxes, bags and envelopes need to be weighed and measured and interior volume calculated.

Trust me I know about images. The good thing about the spreadsheet is it minimizes the amount of configuration pages you have to view and you can duplicate items. It will categorize items also. It is pretty cool. Companies can shove that MAP pricing up their ass for all I am concerend. Company led collusion is all that is.

Cheers for the replies I have pm Jaz hope you got it, the thing about amain was the postage rates that was the clincher, which is why I am prepared to hunt high and low to find another retailer. Over here in Sunny Spain I have found no one who comse close to the prices that seem to be available to the US, so with the postage rates there is no competition and believe it or not the parts I ordered on the whole would get here quicker that stuff ordered in Europe
Keep on hunting

Ya, I help manage an ebusiness Catalog for Staples. A team of about 30 are involved. We touch about 1500 items a month.
