$200-250 and I'm in.

$900 and Frank will have to buy me one

I will have to put this on "To Do" list....albeit way down at the bottom for 2014.

I would consider building one just for the experience of working with CF.

I have been thinking about getting a sheet and making some shock towers for my 8ight 3.0. That seems a more reasonable starting point.

There are a fair amount of parts on most RC cars that you can fabricate CF parts for in a home shop. But once you start wanting to make parts with molded shapes you enter a whole new world.

Making your own CF sheets is not hard and can be done at home. The problem is, with out proper air flow, its hazardous when cutting.

Agree. Not much different than fiberglass. For those not understanding, check this out http://www.uscomposites.com/carbonpage.html.
