Default Hotbodies D817 Nitro thread

HB Racing have published a teaser image of their yet-to-be 1/8 buggy. But the question that everyone arises is what buggy are we talking about? A “Ronnefalk Worlds Edition” of the D815 V2 maybe called D817?
For shure ther´s something going on in the Hotbodies factory!

I'm pretty sure a new Nitro car will be right behind it.

Yeah I def think something is coming, but that black/white pic I'm sure is the Ebuggy...... Tower looks to tall at back to be a Ronnefalk edition!

What you saw in those pre release images was the E817 ebuggy, which has now already been announced. If there is a new Nitro Buggy in the works, it is to be seen. One thing though, can we please call the company the right way from now on? "Hot Bodies" has been renamed to "HB Racing" since the new ownership that has taken place over the summer. It is no longer a part of HPI Racing.

It probably won't happen, but I'd love to see revised front/rear diff cases for quick access and Mugen-style clip spacers. I loathed taking them apart on the D812 because the whole front/rear end would just fall apart needlessly. Barring that, they make a fantastic chassis.
