OS and any OS rebrand.

Do NOT use Nova plugs.

OS P3 and P4 are probably what most people run.

use to run p3 but had issues on hot days with flame outs. cooler the weather (60's ish) the more consistant your going to be with p3's. If you have issues with tuning on hotter days id try a p4 or p5. just my .02

Nova plugs in an OS will leak. Seen it many times. Oddly enough, the reverse works, OS plug in a Nova motor though you have to be careful.

I heard that once you use an os plug in a nova you have to use os plugs forever on that button because the os plug cuts into the button.

it never hurts to have extras if you can afford, Id say most people always carry extras but you shouldnt be going through them quickly unless you are having tuning issues. If your still learning how to tune i would def have at least 1 extra, especially if a hobby shop isnt available onsite.

I run os plugs in my nova engines. P4s all the time never have flame out problems unless something had gone south on the engine or fuel system. Yes the os taper is different. Once you run os in your in your nova engine you have to stick with os plugs unless u replace the head button. At least that what I have been told.p As for flame outs every time I have had Flame out problem it has been bc of something like bad carb orings. Bad rods. No compression. If I have a flame out even just one I am looking for a problem with the engine. I have found nova engine to not flame out at all even if the tune is off. I can sit them on the shelf for weeks take them to the track fire them and go all day long. May have to twist them and hour or two for power depending on weather. But they alway run all day long unless something is wrong. Just my 2 cents.

The issue is that the os plug cuts into the head button. I don't know what it causes but I was told to never go from os to nova.

It is other wise.

The Nova plug is the only one with a thread going up to the taper while with others the thread stops 2 or 3mm before the taper begins. Nova plugs can not be fully screwed down but with some force it can
